Medisoft 14
offers Advanced FEATURES for Practice Management

Medisoft version 14 has a lot of new and exciting features that can help you better manage your practice. Features like Patient quick entry will allow you to customize patient screens so you will no longer have to worry about missing key information when adding a new patient to the database. The new dashboard board feature will allow you to see key information related to your practice with the click of a button. Also the new UB-04 paper and print image capability, billing for 8 diagnosis codes, global days feature, new features in Mediutils and much more.
Patient Quick Entry is a feature designed to redefine the way Medisoft is used. Each office has its own needs. Data entry needs vary from state to state and from insurance carrier to insurance carrier. Traditionally, when entering patient information, it has been up to the users to know which fields to use, and which fields to ignore. Additionally, users have been required to navigate between multiple fields on the patient chart and case entry screens, which contain vital claim information. Patient Quick Entry will consolidate patient entry into one easy screen that will allow users to define which fields they want to view, which fields they want required, and the order in which the fields are displayed. Some custom templates may be created for Medicare Patients, Self pay accounts or work men’s comp patients. This new and exciting feature is integrated with Office Hours and it’s only available with Medisoft Advance or Network Professional.
Administrative Dashboard – gives you a summary of the account data in Medisoft. You can have multiple practices enabled to see the totals all in one screen. In addition you can set it up to see the number of new patients, patient payments and the number of people in collections. This feature is completely customizable and can be setup based on your specific needs.
Billing for 8 Diagnosis Codes - only applies to electronic claims. You need to set it up through program options and the additional 4 diagnosis fields will be added to the patients case.
UB-04 Feature is a standard insurance claim form similar to the CMS-1500; however, it is used primarily for institutional billing as opposed to clinical billing
Global Days or Global Surgery Global Days – allows the users to setup account alerts for visits that are related to a specific surgery. You can have all of the follow-up visits linked to one unique case and set the coverage period. The Global Surgery fee usually includes services such as: dressing changes, local incision care, removal of operative packs, removal of sutures, staples, lines, wires, tubes, drains and splints etc.
