In 1995, armed with over seventeen years of experience in healthcare reimbursement,
Medical billing and collections, Vanessa Best founded Precision HealthCare Consultants, a full service billing department for physicians offices. As president of the company, Ms Best coordinates billing and accounts receivable management for physicians of all specialties.

Within the past two years, Ms. Best has added dental billing to her practice and currently processes dental claims for general dentists. Orthodontists and periodontists. She also offers medical and dental software sales, training and technical support. Precision HealthCare is an authorized vendor for Empire Blue Cross Blue Shield’s software sales and support.

Ms Best served as the managed care analyst for a group of 200 doctors at the prestigious Columbia-New York Hospital Cornell University for approximately ten years. She assisted with implementation of the IPA for Faculty Physicians and worked with negotiating physician fees with various insurance companies.

Academically, she has developed and instructed medical management programs for several institutions throughout both the City and State Universities of New York systems. She was recently appointed as a special project consultant to devise an ongoing medical billing training program for on the largest ambulance providers in New York City in conjunction with Long Island University.

When not engaged in occupational pursuits, Ms. Best enjoys time with her husband of fifteen years and her two children.
