all sectors of healthcare completed the selection of
the prestigious NDC Medisoft VAR(Value Added Reseller)
of the Year Award. The Medisoft VAR of the Year was
awarded to Vanessa Best, President of Baldwin- Long
Island New York based, Precision HealthCare Consultants.
This high profile Summit for the Physician Solutions
group was held in Las Vegas Nevada.

added to why Vanessa Best was honored stated that selection
was, “Based on what you have done you’re

Best. “I’m grateful to be selected among

she says. Ms. Best who is the president started the
firm in 1995 primarily providing medical billing and
began offering the same software her company used –
Medisoft. Then she began to offer Hands on and remote
Training, Support, Network Services, HIPAA Consulting,
Marketing Analysis and now EMR(Electronic Medical Records)
Integration.
Ms. Best is a 2003 “40 Under 40” Achievement
Awards Winner from The Network Journal. She has also
received certification from the American Health Information
Management Association (AHIMA) as a CCS-P (Certified
Coding Specialist, Physician Based) and with the American
Academy of Procedural Coders (AAPC) as a CPC (Certified
Procedural Coder). She was a featured speaker at the
Bank of America Entrepreneurs Conference “Industry
Spotlight- HealthCare”, featured as success story
in Black Enterprise Magazine and recently appeared in
Business Spotlight in the November 2004 Small Business
Opportunities Magazine.
