On December 2nd 2014, Thirty (30) NYC area entrepreneurs celebrated the completion of a four month program as part of the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Business initiative. Vanessa Best of Precision Healthcare Consultants was not only among the graduates but also selected as Alumni Scholar to speak at the graduation.
In the United States, Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses is a $500 million investment to help entrepreneurs create jobs and economic opportunity by providing them with greater access to education, financial capital and business support services.
Small businesses have generated 64 percent of net new jobs over the past 15 years. They represent 99.7 percent of all employer firms, hire 40 percent of high tech workers, and produce 13 times more patents per employee than large patenting firms.
Vanessa Best, comments, “As CEO of Precision Healthcare Consultants, I have seen this consistently, every doctor and medical director has the same dilemma, getting paid faster and having metrics to help them make decisions. We’ve always done a great job, but now with the tools from the Goldman Sachs program….we have enhanced our systems and will by far not only exceed the expectations of our clients but we are positioned to expand to include NYS, NYC & Nassau County Government Procurement opportunities as a MWBE (Minority Women Business Enterprise by Empires State Development & Nassau County Office of Minority Affairs) which will create jobs and provide the needed expertise in the region. “
Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses is designed to tap into that economic power by providing entrepreneurs across the country with the resources they need to grow and create jobs.
